I went golfing today at Cherry Hill with my brother Ryan and my Pops. I was winning through 6 holes when the rain came down. I am calling it a victory ... not surprising, my brother is not.

Tonight on my way home from the gym, I spotted what appeared to be Richard Dreyfus rollerblading down the street of a busy intersection ... it was awesome.

My first night with just going Slim Fast shake and vegatables/dip for dinner .... I feel alright right now ... I should be able to make it to cereal in the morning : )

Today I drove by a Dairy Queen, which reminded me that it was that Dairy Queen where I saw the funniest signage ever. All it said was CHEESEBURGE SALE!!!! hahahahahhahah ... so perfect. I can't quite explain why it's so funny ... but I know it is : ) I mean ... they didn't even list the price .. hahha

Today I hit the gym, watered my newly planted flowers and got a free meatloaf dinner from my mom .... MOM .... THE MEATLOAF!

I saw the movie I'm Just Not That Into You last night. I usually don't mind a chick flick, but I had to see this one since it has the cutest girl ever in it and my #1 ... Ginnifer Goodwin. The movie wasn't that great, but here storyline was the best. Just look how cute her round face is ... it's ridiculous. She is also great in the show Big Love, which I also like.

Today I got a bunch of Slim Fast shakes from Meijer ... I am going to try to have them for my dinners during the week ... not for a means to lose weight, but for convenience sake. Coming home from the gym and grabbing a can out of the fridge just sounds so easy, ha. ... We'll see how long I can do that for.

Ohh .. I have been rewatching the Joe Schmo show from a couple years back ... I forgot how funny it was ... they should really bring that show back .... WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!! hhahahahaha

Green Thumb'D

Today I got to plant flowers in my yard all day !! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ... it was exhausting ... I even got my family to pitch in .... they are pictured above ... kind of.

My backyard is really coming together .. finally.

I finally got my new mouse and am back in business. If I would have drawn stuff with that finger pad it would have been bush league ... but kind of fun, heh.

How did I forget about this song???

So I was thinking about my top ten movie list, and I thought about my number 1: Bottle Rocket ... and all of the sudden I realized that my favorite song from it's soundtrack was not on my iPod!!! So I quickly ran to iTunes and purchased "Alone Again Or" by the group Love. This song is so amazing .. so calming and smooth .... please give it a listen. I would put it in my top ten songs ... hmm ... I smell another list coming soon. : )

Today was all about yard work. My parents helped me out as we weeded the backyard, where the new grass is growing pretty well. I also took a tv antennae and satelite dish from a previous owner off of my roof. Getting to go on the roof is always cool, right? My pops and I also fixed up a window in my kitchen. Some nice work got done.

I then got to go out to dinner with my friend Matt Morris. We went to our new mexy restaurant in town, Casa Grande ... which is turning into one of my favs. I had the white-cheese tacos!! weeeeeeeeee!!! It was fun catching up with Matt. It was also awesome how the TVs in the place had spanish closed caption going ... I really need to get on that Rosetta Stone.

12 Toes?

Ha ... I saw Linda Cohn on Sports Center while in the gym ... I didn't know she still was on that.... but anyways, it reminded me on how Tony Kornheiser always claimed that she had 12 toes.... but it wasn't 6 and 6. He always said it was 12 the hard way .. hahahahha 4 - 8 ... 12 the hard way is awesome. I miss Kornheiser's radio show .. alot.

Tonight I worked out, had a greek salad from Ziffles Rib Bar ... watched a bunch of indian kids spell words, watched some nba ... and will cap the night with Twin Peaks.

This Guy

I saw this guy at the gym tonight ... he was wearing sun glasses on top of his head while he was lifting. I found this very unsettling.

I watched the movie Ghost World last night and found it pretty good. Tonight I will watch more Twin Peaks ... I am getting close to finishing it.

10. Parker Lewis Can't Lose - Weird, quirky humor with a great collection of different characters.

9. The Muppet Show - Classic and always funny. Beaker is the best, dude.

8. Gilmore Girls - My guilty pleasure ... I always had a crush of Alexis Bledel, but it's Lauren Graham that steals the show. Great dialogue too.

7. Curb Your Enthusiasm - A whole series about George Costanza ... haha ... Larry David is genius.

6. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - The characters are all despicable ... but that's what makes them so funny. Such a wicked comedy that doesn't hold back .... I believe it is the best comedy still being made.

5. Arrested Development - The characters are so funny ... I find myself having a new favorite character every time I watch. I can't wait till the movie!! I need my Bluths!

4. Seinfeld - Not much I can say ... a masterpiece of comedy ....

3. The Wonder Years - What an amazing, touching show. I can't believe how well it is made, and the music in it is great. The characters are so real. This is the show that has pushed me to tears more than any other.

2. Lost - This changed the way I believed a TV show could be made. The mystery, character development, music .... so great. This is the only show I watched marathon style when I first go the dvds ... like 8 episodes in a row at a time, heh ... so good.

1. The Adventures of Pete and Pete - This show is amazing ... Nickelodeon was so cool back then ... but this show was the best. It's twisted humor mixed with remembering things from my childhood was awesome. This was an adult show masked as a kid's show. The humor is weird and has gone a long way in shaping my sense of humor. All the characters were great too ... the song at the start of the show is my ringtone : )

10. Heavyweights - I am not a huge fan of slapstick comedy, but this film just gets me. It is what I think to be Ben Stiller's best comedic role, as the crazy fitness instructor.

9. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Really great acting from Jim Carey & Kate Winslett plus a great thought provoking story ... almost trippy.

8. Swingers - What a fun, cool, funny guys movie. I like the laid back feel it has, and it feels very realistic.

7. The Royal Tenenbaums - Awesome surreal world that Anderson builds with a great all-star cast. It has a great dreamy feel to it that I like and has great dry humor.

6. The Virgin Suicides - This movie is all about the haunting and surreal feel to the film. The whole thing almost feels like a dream. It also has great music that adds to the flavor. It is chilling story that really puts you into the character of the young boys ... who ended up knowing nothing about the girls ... just like we as viewers feel at the end ... why did they do it?

5. The Big Lebowski - This movie is just cool. It has awesome humor, and it is very quotable. The character of The Dude is amazing, John Goodman is great in this, and you can't forget about the Nihilists ... WE BELIEVE IN NOSSSSTHHING, LEBOOOWWWSKI .. ha

4. Snatch - Cool, stylized film ... cool characters ... funny ...one of the best opening sequences to any film I have see.

3. Rushmore - Smart, funny film with a great soundtrack. Bill Murray is awesome ... Jason Schwartzman is fantastic and is very believable in his role. The film is so maticulous, you can tell that everything in the film has been thought through with the greatest detail. I love that this old business man and young student can strike up a friendship ... but they are both ruthless .. ha

2. Raiders of the Lost Ark - It's really hard to think of a more enjoyable movie to watch ... great action and comedy ... you can't ask for more .. perfection.

1. Bottle Rocket - This is the film that introduced me to the dry humor in movies that I have come to love. It basically shaped my sense of humor. The characters and dialogue in this film are so funny. Every time I watch it, new things jump out and crack me up ... the subtle things are great. EVeryone needs to give this film a try ... It's the Wilson bros. jump off and also Wes Andersons

huH?

Today at work this lady crossed my path 7 ft. away from me and said, "Excuse me." This left me baffled. What was I supposed to say or do? We weren't even close to each other. It was really weird, and I didn't care for it ... so I went and set down in my cubicle for 9 hours and then went home. What a day.

I lifted weights, jogged the neighborhood, and then made some bbq, bacon cheeseburgers on the grill ... pretty tasty. All my shows are pretty much over on TV ... gonna start hitting the Rosetta Stone: Spanish pretty hard this summer .... speaking of Spanish ... how funny does Pedro Pan sound and his Los Muchachos Perdidos (credit to Heather) .... I must draw this ... LATER

Steak dinner for 1?

Tonight I had a steak dinner all by myself ... kinda lonely. Seems like the steak dinner should be reserved for special occasions when more people are around. It was good though ... I had a t-bone steak, baked potato, green beans, and ceasar salad ... mmmm

I had a busy day ... mowed the lawn, killed weeds, lifted weights, jogged in the neighborhood, and layed out in the sun like a girl ....

GET UP!!!!

I have been wanting to get up to work out in the morning for a long time, but every time the alarm goes off I just reset it for later and end up going to the gym after work instead. I feel like i need the alarm clock hardwired into my brain to be able to achieve my goal. I am going to try to get up again tomorrow.

Tonight was the Fringe season finale ... it was pretty good. I am hoping the Lost finale destroys it tomorrow, though.

Frosted Mini Wheats are about 50% of what they could be

I have been getting Frosted Mini-Wheats lately and have noticed how good the frosted side is and how blah the unfrosted side is. I wonder if they sell them with both sides frosted .... that would be amazing.

I came home from work and mowed my lawn tonight and went and shopped for some groceries. I can never really think of what kind of meals to buy ... I am pretty bad at it.

There's no such thing as a free lunch

I got a gift from the good Colonel today. Free grilled chicken meal from KFC c/o Oprah. It was descent ... except I waited for 45 minutes lolzssshaaggga .... and they ran out of cole slaw right when I got to the counter : ( The best part was that they wouldn't let me substitute another side item, instead I had to have a double portion of mashed potatos. All in all it probably wasn't worth it .... maybe at a later date things will calm down.

I hit the gym again ..... and ........ LOST is on tonight!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I didn't do anything remotely involved with cinco de mayo today, unless guacamole on my burgers again counts. I watched a cool episode of Fringe and hit the gym again. Nothing much happened today .... meh

There's a new sheriff in town

Guacamole has taken over my number one condiment spot. Easily dethroning mustard, along with its tag-a-long ketchup. I used it on my burgers that I grilled tonight, and it was great. Now I am wondering what else it could be good on ... turkey sandwiches ... maybe even hot dogs ??? mmmmm ....

I hit the gym and watched some TV with my roommate tonight. I am starting to feel really fit.

Darjeeling Ltd. > Slumdog Millionaire

Tonight I got to Slumdog it for the first time ever. I went to an Indian restaurant with the entire Rohrs Clan. My first time having Indian food. It was spicy, but it was pretty good. They treated me for helping them move tonight. I am gonna help them finish with the move in the morning.

Shooter

Tonight I just started drawing in MS Paint, and this guy came out. It might be my favorite character I have ever drawn. He is straight shooter style with a dash of Kennedy thrown in. So the fact that my drawing is the drawing tonight is kind of a self-fulfilling act in and of itself. Win!

Tonight was more gym ... more lifting ... more running ... I got a greek salad from Ziffles Rib joint for dinner. I also enjoyed a little popcorn while watching The Office & 30 Rock tonight.

LOST SPOILER WARNING

One of my favorite character on Lost got shot tonight ... I hope he lives, but I am not thinking he will. Only 2 more episodes of Lost this season ... I can't believe it is almost over already.

I got a quick lift in today at the gym and even got to eat some dinner at Casa's with my parents and my brother.

Uneventful Day

Nothing really happened that was noteworthy today. I worked, lifted weights, ran on the treadmill, and watched Fringe. I had leftover philly cheese steaks for dinner. Hopefully tomorrow will bring something amusing.

I GOT A GRILL!

I bought my first grill today off my friend Jeremy. I think I will have to get a steak for my initial grilling of meat. This should be a good summer now ... nothing like grilling out.

I finally made it back to the gym ... I think my cold is finally gone. I don't think it was the swine flu ... so ... win.

I Dunnit

This is me after everyone found out that I was the murderer in a Murder Mystery party that I attended tonight at Jeremy & Adrienne's home. It was Jeremy's 30th b-day party. My character was a lifeguard who decided to kill his best friend in an attempt to keep his job. The best friend had learned detrimental secrets about myself.

It was a lot of fun and something I had not experienced before. I got to see a lot of friends that I haven't seen in a while so it was a really fun night.

The Incident

Today I bore witness to this incident at work. It really caught me off guard. How do you come back from something like this? hahahah

I think I am going to a hockey game tonight ... it's the Komets in the playoff ... our team here at work has a suite.

Blarghhh ... I can't get over my sickness .... I wonder if I need actual medicine? ... maybe

Happy 24th Ryan

Today is my brother's 24th birthday. I only saw him for about 15 minutes today : (
He had class at night, and I couldn't celebrate with him ... He had free Bandidos mexican food at lunch with my parents ... but I couldn't attend since I was back at work ... back from my pink eye ... I had pink eye in both eyes ... ewwww .... but I got eye drops from the doc and they are on there way to getting better.

Little balls of Hate

Today I believe I came down with the pink eye in both eyes. I have never had it before ... wow ... it kinda sucks. My eyes haven't stopped watering since I got up this morning. I did make it out for a nice Italian lunch at Casa today ... but then back home and laid on the couch the rest of the day. We'll see if I can make it into work tomorrow.

JUCY LUCY

Tonight we tried something that we saw on the show Man vs. Food. It is called the Jucy Lucy (and yes, that's how you spell it) and it hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is actually two hamburger patties that are wrapped around a block of cheese. The patties are then crimped at the edges to seal in the cheese before it is thrown on the grill. The cheese is then heated to a boil inside the burger. When you take your first bite of the Jucy Lucy, the cheese flows all over your face, scolding and burning like liquid hot magma ... but it is totally worth it. MMMmmmmm ... good stuff.

The rest of the day was filled with helping my parents landscape, as well as playing some outside games with my brother that is in from out of town. It was a great day, great weather, and I even got some sun.

Hiccups Hurt

Tonight my family and I went out to the finest steak house in town to celebrate my bro and sis in law's birthdays. I had the craziest hiccup while in the midst of putting down a 16 oz prime rib. It was what turned out to be a triple hiccup! It was a hiccup that piggy backed a hiccup that piggy backed another hiccup .... it was epic!

I have figured out that I get the hiccups when I go for a jog outside when the air is still not all that warm. I don't get them on the treadmill ... maybe I am sucking too much wind?

Why No Buffer?

Ugghh .... The creepy guy came in the bathroom at work today while i was at the far urinal. There are 3 urinals in a row, and this guy chooses the middle. Not only that, but he uses a weird stance in which he kinda squats with his knees bent. He also stands a little farther away from the urinal that usual ... Creepy.

I have tomorrow off of work ... we are going to Cork N Cleaver to celebrate my bro and sis in lawz b-day ... mmmmmmmmmmm ... prime rib stylee for sure.

I felt like I needed this all day today. I battled headaches, warm flashes, and sore throat at work and at home. My brother and my parents were sick like this last week ... good thing I went to their house for Easter : (

I think I will still try to tough it into work tomorrow though. ... but for now .. bedtime!

BUM SOCCER LEAGUE

Today at work, two friends got into an argument about if you offered a bum leftover food ... would they eat it. They gave the specific example of half eaten chicken, a couple grape sized tomatos, and some orange slices. I jumped in and informed them that the Bum Soccer League would be more than happy to take the orange halves off their hands. hahhaha the thought of this league made me laugh .. so I had to draw it.

In other less important news ... I didn't get fired today. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! There were layoffs in my area at work today ... but I got that passover.

Fringe is on tonight and I am sitting pretty with the best pizza in town (Ziffles) in my stomach. nice

I can Win at Fake Baseball

I spent a lot of time today catching up on some old Super Nintendo game from days gone by. In one game of Ken Griffey Jr. babseball, I ended up winning 21 -2 with an mvp performance turned in by Marquis Grissom. It was straight domination. I also played some old school NHLPA Hockey with my brother Ryan ... that may be the best 2 player sports game ever. We were pretty even at that game, so it was teh funZ.

The rest of the day consisted of lunch at The Mandarin and fertilizing the lawn. I may watch some Angel season 1 tonight. I am kinda getting into it ... yea ... I'm a big dork ... big deal .. wanna fight about it?

Paul Blart 2 gets pwn'D by Taco

Today I went to a new Mexican restaurant right down the street from my house. It is named Casa Grande. Which I find funny because both words are probably 2 out of the 8 words that most non-Mexican speaking American probably know the meaning to. There is also an Italian restaurant basically across the street from it named Casa ... hahahahaha ... good job on the name, Mexican restaurant. It was pretty good. They had that authentic white cheese on the tacos, which I love. It was also affordable and the salsa was descent.

After the restaurant, we went and saw Seth Rogan's Observe and Report. This is the second movie I have seen about a mall cop this year, Paul Blart being the other. This basically was the same movie as Paul Blart except bumped up from PG to R. It had some amusing moments ... but overall it was pretty meh ...

I would have to call the white cheese on my tacos the crowing achievement on my day off from work.

Cupcakes for All

Today at work, I witnessed an email battle about the quality of Easter cupcakes that my friend brought to work vs the cupcakes that her co-worker brought into work. My other friend pointed out that there was probably some sort of cupcake socialism today, as most cupcakes probably look and taste the same for the Easter holiday. He then attached this picture. I made one small change by adding the cupcake. I like it : ) Cupcakes for the People!!!

I have tomorrow off work .... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Now I just need to find something to eat, while watching The Office.

Even Stevens

In the mail today, I received a medical bill for $62 and an unexpected check from my insurance company for $62. I could not believe it. I was Even Stevens .... just like Jerry Seinfeld.

Lost is on tonight, and I am so pumped. It is set up to be a really good episode. I am gonna tear up some Casa Salad and guzzle some Pepsi Max with my favorite show, Evah!

Sweaty Fingers

At the gym tonight, I saw a truly horrible image that has since been seared into my mind. A larger lady in an all pink sweat-suit was pumping away on one of those cardio machines where the legs and arms swing, when what I suspect was her husband came up from behind and started scratching her back! Not just her regular back .... but her sweat-stained back ... eeeeek! This sight was even worse then the sight of a naked old man that destroyed my eyes when I walked into the locker room.

ps ... sweaty back scratches are awesome'D!!

Well ... Fringe comes back on tonight, and I am very excited. I also want to send a happy birthday out to my friend, Jeremy.

Food for my Mouth

Tonight I got the taste for some coney dogs. I obv used Nathan's Hot Dogs and then piled it high with chili, onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. I put down 3 dogs, as can be seen in my maticulously, accurate painting. They were awesome. They better be, because I have to have them for the next two nights, ha. I have found I have a high tolerance for leftovers.

Today, my pops & I had a jam session. Me on the guitar, and my dad on his new ukulele. We rocked out some tracks like "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and "Polly Wolly Doodle Ala Day". It was totally fierce.

My Brother is a Destroyer

Today my brother lifted my father's computer with his thumb applying pressure on the laptop's screen. This caused the screen to crack, which resulted in the most beautiful color pattern of lines and squiggles that you have ever seen. This also resulted in my brother fearing for his life and his $$$.

Yes, this is what qualifies as memorable when spending all day in a cubicle. I had to use a Pringles can to create a receptacle for encouraging notes that we can drop off for other co-workers. I created a fish out of the can. I'll attach a picture. The can ended up being the fish's mouth.

Speaking of chips ... has anyone tried Peppercorn & Ranch Sun Chips? Pretty Bomby ... try them.
